Hi folks, thought I'd update my D.A journal as it's been a while. I've always thought of DeviantArt as a site to simply post artwork and that's it (which is fine for the hobbyist). For some reason however I now see it a bit more than that, I now see it as not just a site to display artwork but also a site where we can let fellow deviants know what's on our artisticly deviant minds. Hi Deviantartists, been a while since i added a journal update. It's been just over a year since i graduated from my games art and design course and i've spent the time trying to improve both my 3D and 2D skills. Most importantly i've just been trying to enjoy art again, not having to work to project deadlines is good but it does'nt motivate you to produce your best work. However after recently seeing The Avengers movie i've been greatly inspired and motivated. There are a few films that i was lookin forward to seeing (Prometheus, The Dark Knight Rises) but to be honest the Avengers was'nt one of them. But After seeing it, i was well impresse

I've finally completed my games art and design degree course, where i got a relatively good mark. I pleased with the amount i've learned and plan to incorporate it my own projects. The thing is, computer games seemed like a natural progression from my interest in comics, i've learned loads about the whole concept art thing and 3D modeling/sculpting but all said and done i still keep getting drawn (literally) back into comics. I think it's because of the whole narrative thing, all of my work has a story behind it. Predator vs Boba Fett is back on my to do list, i'm keen to get it finished or at least make a dent in the amount of pages i have
